evaluation

For this unit we was asked to show our Photoshop skills by choosing a image and recreating another one that look as similar as we could to our chosen image.for my final image i choose to recreate a photograph by Rankin. so choose a model that looked similar to the one in the photograph then i went into the studio and took the image that i wanted to tear and have the model using.then went back in a positioned her to looking the same pose as the model in Rankin photo.then i put the photo into Photoshop used the burn tool to bring out the  torn image and edit the picture and make it look more like Rankin image by changing the colour of the image and making the hair color of the model darker to match the one on Rankins image.i enjoyed making the image and think it came out quite well but didn't enjoy that kind of photography as much as id rather make my own image than copy other and think i could o0f improve my image by having more time to rearrange the positions and float in and out of the studio but as other had to use the studio as well this was harder.

This is the image i am going to recreate its a image originally took by Rankin.
I also looked at recreating this image but i didnt like the image as much as others i had looked at and wanted to look at a image that i liked in the first place.

I would of liked this image but as i do not have a look alike this will be hard.

Here is my painted over image i have took a picture and turned black and white then printed it and then painted over it with water colours.

In the mid 19th century before colored photography people started hand painting on the colours that would be found in the black and white images taken. the colours were applied with cotton swabs or paint brushes they coloured the images by using dyes, paints, oils, pastels.
Painting onto images
In todays lesson we have gone out and taken images then turned them into black and white then i have painted ontp of the image with water colours.

You can also just focus on one part of the photo by using this technique and just choosing the gaussian blur .

You can also change the lightness around the image by taking the same steps then in stead of choosing radical blur going to hue and saturation and changing the lightness to darker or lighter.

This is what the out come will look like and you can also chose the spin tool to make it look like its spinning out instead of zooming.
Then go to filter blur then radical blur then select the blur you can also choose the amount of zoom you would like.

then inverse the image.

then select feather and set the radius to 150.

For zoom you need to select the middle of the image.
this image has merged a ice berg into a castle you can tell this has bee highly manipulated.
this image looks quite realistic and you may not be able to see that it is photoshopped.
this is more of a funny looking one which which you may be ale to tell was edited as the man photoshopped has a different shade to the other things in the image.
this on looks realistic again and it has merged the milk into the flower using the same colours and shades.
this image looks like it could be real but you an tel its not because of the content of the picture.
introduction
For the second part of out photoshop workshop we will be recreating a image of our choice and making it look exactly like our chosen image. While doing this we will be learning how to use more tools on photoshop.
