you can also see whats colour has been added by just looking at the added layer.





You can also make the opacity to make it higher or lower to make the colours more visible and less visible.




Then go to layers and switch to over lay this will blend the colours into the image.

Then you need to zoom in and start drawing onto the image.


Then click onto the brush and make sure that the its on image mode RGB.

then you can choose weather you might like it better in colour or black and white by going to image / adjustments/then hue and saturation

Then you need to go to FILTER the BLUR then GAUSSIAN BLUR.

Then you can choose how much you would like it blurred into the picture

Then as you save it you can change the image size and its quality.

Formats

Then click onto (Format) and pick which kinda file you would like to save it as.

The format you might want to use will depend on whether its just a practice images what you not to bothered about the quality or if it your final image and you want to keep all the detail.

jpeg -This compresses your files every time you save (so it will flatten the layers)put it is still ok to use for experimental images.

Photoshop- This wont compress your files it will save all your information about the image but you might not be able to open the images on every computer.

TIFF- This can be used to save final images as it saves all the information and can be opened on any computer but it takes up a lot of memory.
Then you can name the file (save as),choose (where) you want to save it.

Then write in the box what you would like to remname the file and then click off itand it will be renamed

Renaming file-
Start with choosing the image you would like to rename.

Then press the save button to save the contact sheet onto your computer.
then press the refresh preview button and it will give you a preview of what your contact sheet will look like.





Then you choose the images you would like to put onto your contact sheet using the content bar.
Then highlight the one you have picked.
